The full Co van Kessel experience: around eight hours and 20 kilometres across Bangkok using every way the city moves. You cycle out of Chinatown through markets and narrow alleyways, hop a local train to the quieter outskirts, and ride through suburban neighbourhoods and pockets of green plantation inside the city. Along the way you stop for a Thai meal at a family-run restaurant and visit the Buddhist and Muslim communities that live side by side away from the tourist circuit. A longtail boat carries you along the river, and the day closes with a Skytrain ride back over the city skyline to River City Bangkok. Like every Co van Kessel ride, there is no fixed script: routes shift with the city, festivals and the day itself, at a leisurely pace with frequent stops.

Meet at River City Bangkok
Meet on the ground floor outside the mall entrance, to the right of the main entrance. The tour departs at 10:00. You get a fitted city bike and an optional free helmet.
Ride into the vibrant streets and narrow alleyways of Bangkok's Chinatown, past markets, shrines and everyday city life.
Board a local train with your bike and ride out to the quieter edges of the city.
Cycle through suburban neighbourhoods and green plantation pockets, stopping midway for a Thai meal at a family-run restaurant. Vegetarian and dietary options are available on request.
Visit the local communities that live side by side away from the tourist circuit, with stops for snacks and drinks at neighbourhood shops.
Trade the bike for a traditional longtail boat and cruise along the water for a different view of the city.
Finish with a Skytrain ride over the city skyline and return to River City Bangkok, where the tour ends.

Tours run rain or shine. In light rain ponchos are handed out; in a heavy downpour the guide finds shelter and waits it out, usually no more than about 30 minutes.
Yes, all ages are welcome. Children under 12 join at the child price and infants ride free: baby seats fit little ones up to about 10 kg, child seats up to about 35 kg, and small bikes are available for ages 5 to 10. Child helmets are available on request.
Light, comfortable clothing with shoulders covered works best, especially at temple stops. Closed shoes or sports sandals are safer than flip-flops.
Yes. Cancellation or a date change is free up to 24 hours before departure.
