Description
Chinatown is best explored somewhere a tour bus cannot go. On this three hour ride you cycle through its narrow alleyways, markets and backstreets, past shophouses, hidden temples and spirit houses, in the middle of a neighbourhood in motion. The route passes Bangkok's largest flower market before you cross the Chao Phraya River by ferry to Thonburi, the quieter west bank, where you ride through residential communities most visitors never see and get open views of the city skyline. Expect about 12 km at a leisurely pace, with several stops of 10 to 20 minutes, including small family-run shops where you try Thai snacks and cold drinks. Nothing about the route is set in stone: your guide adjusts it to markets, festivals and daily life.

Meet at River City Bangkok
Meet on the ground floor outside the mall entrance, to the right of the main entrance. Tours depart at 08:00 and 14:00. You get a fitted city bike and an optional free helmet.
Ride through Chinatown's alleyways, markets and backstreets, past shophouses, hidden temples and spirit houses, with snack and drink stops at family-run shops.
Pass Bangkok's largest flower market, then cross the Chao Phraya River by ferry.
Cycle through Thonburi's residential communities with views of the Bangkok skyline, visit a local temple, then head back across the river to River City.
