Meet at River City Bangkok
Meet on the ground floor outside the mall entrance, to the right of the main entrance. The tour departs at 18:00. You get a fitted city bike and an optional free helmet.
Cycle into Chinatown as the neon comes on, weaving through alleys and evening market streets under the district's vibrant lights. The roughly 12 km route sticks to back roads, alleys and footpaths for about 95% of the ride.
Ride through Bangkok's largest flower market, which rises to full bloom at night as traders unload mountains of marigolds, jasmine and orchids, then cross the Chao Phraya River with the lit-up skyline behind you.
About halfway through the evening, sit down for a street-food dinner, included in the tour, with vegetarian and dietary options available if you let your guide know.
Roll through the quiet residential lanes of Thonburi, where the pace drops and the city glitters across the water, before crossing back and finishing at River City Bangkok around three hours after the start.

River City Bangkok
River City Bangkok is the riverside complex in Si Phraya, just off Charoen Krung Road; any taxi or Grab driver knows it by name. Coming by river, get off at Si Phraya pier next to the Royal Orchid Sheraton and walk a couple of minutes, and from BTS Saphan Taksin you can pick up the Chao Phraya Express boat at Sathorn pier. Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes before the 18:00 departure, so by around 17:30-17:45.
Check-in at River City Bangkok runs from about 17:30 for the 18:00 departure, with bike fitting before you set off. The ride starts in the last of the daylight and most of it happens after dark, when the temperature drops and the evening breeze does half the pedalling for you.
The route sticks to the same no-main-roads rule as the daytime rides, and the city rearranges itself at night: Chinatown under its lights, the flower market coming alive for its overnight trade, and the skyline glittering across the water from the Thonburi bank.
Around the halfway mark you sit down for the included street food dinner. Baby seats, child seats and small bikes are available, so the ride works for families too.

Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes before departure so there is time to check in and get fitted to your bike.
Tours run rain or shine. In light rain ponchos are handed out; in a heavy downpour the guide finds shelter and waits it out, usually no more than about 30 minutes.
Yes, all ages are welcome. Children under 12 join at the child price and infants ride free: baby seats fit little ones up to about 10 kg, child seats up to about 35 kg, and small bikes are available for ages 5 to 10. Child helmets are available on request.
Light, comfortable clothing with shoulders covered works best, especially at temple stops. Closed shoes or sports sandals are safer than flip-flops.

The cooler evening air made the twelve kilometres manageable. The guide balanced local stories with enough uninterrupted riding.

Three hours gave us a surprising amount of variety without feeling exhausting. We appreciated how confidently the team handled the river crossing. The city lights from the Thonburi bank were worth the whole ride.

Our group found a comfortable rhythm within the first few alleys. The guide chose quiet places for explanations so everyone could hear.
